PHILADELPHIA FELONY CRIMES LAWYERS
Pennsylvania Criminal Law categorizes crimes and their penalties as either Felonies or Misdemeanors, with 3 subclasses of each. Felony offenses are the worst possible criminal offenses, and are punished with penalties ranging from by prison sentences over 1 year in length to death by execution for capital offenses.
Felony Crimes include:

- Any crime in which the value of the property damaged or stolen exceeds $1,000.
Felonies are broken into Felony 1 (F1), Felony 2 (F2), and Felony 3 (F3) and each crime category carries its own maximum sentences for each subclass. Under Pennsylvania Criminal Laws Felony Crimes are broken down as follows:
- Felony 1 (F1) – Carries a maximum sentence of up to 20 Years in Prison.
- Examples of F1 crimes would be Aggravated Assault w/a Deadly Weapon, Drug Distribution or Drug Trafficking.
- Felony 2 (F2) – Carries a maximum sentence of up to 10 Years in Prison.
- Examples of F2 crimes would be Burglary, Sexual Assault, and Arson.
- Felony 3 (F3) – Carries a maximum sentence of up to 7 Years in Prison.
- Examples of F3 crimes would be Drug Offenses, Firearms, and Major Theft.
